Elegance is a question of personality, more than one's clothing.

I’ve always loved fashion, beauty, interiors, and travel – but probably just as much, I love finding the things that make everyday life easier, prettier, or simply better. And if I find something really good, keeping it to myself has never exactly been my strong suit.

Whether you found me through social media, a friend sent you my way, you know me in real life, or you somehow just ended up here – Welcome! The fact that you’re taking the time to be here means more to me than you probably realize.

This wasn’t exactly the plan…

If you has asked me 20 years ago what my life would look like today, I can almost guarantee this isn’t exactly what I would have described. I probably would have described something like “I’ll be living in Manhattan, working somewhere in the world of fashion and luxury, surrounded by designer everything, attending the most prestigious fashion weeks, every year, and jet-setting between New York, Paris, Milan and wherever work happens to take me”.

Today, I’m a girl mom to the most perfect daughter God could have ever blessed me with , and soon to be Mrs. Lewis that I don’t think God could have hand picked someone anymore perfect for me. Somwhere along the way we added two french bulldogs, Lola and Lily Vuitton to the mix.

And yes, how cliche, Vuitton.

In hindsight, naming my dog Lola Vuitton probably should have been a clue that the fashion thing wasn’t going anywhere.

The fashion degree that took me somewhere completely unexpected.

I actually did follow that love of fashion into college and earned a Bachelor’s Degree, fully convinced it would somehow lead me into the fashion world I had always pictured for myself. My dad used to ask me what exactly I planned to do with that degree, and at that time, I’m sure I had a very convincing answer. What I definitely didn’t expect was for my career to take me into Commercial Real Estate – a world that looked nothing like the one I had imagined.

And somehow, it all came back around.

The funny thing is, the fashion, beauty, travel, interiors, and creativity I loved all those years ago never really went anywhere. They just showed up differently. Over the years, I became the person that friends and family came to for recommendations, outfit ideas, beauty finds, travel tips and all the little things that make life feel a little more polished and a lot more enjoyable. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted a place to bring all of it together – and this is it.

Caroline Duran is my little corner on the internet to share the things I genuinely love, the things I think are actually worth your money, and the tips I wish someone had shared with me first. I’m so happy you found your way here, and I hope you leave with something that inspires you, helps you, or simply makes your day a little better.
