Everyday Little Kitchen Luxuries

I’m a firm believer that everything in a kitchen should have a place—and that the things you use every single day can still look beautiful sitting out. I’ve found that a few simple upgrades can completely change how a kitchen looks and functions, whether it’s containing everyday essentials on a pretty tray, making a cabinet easier to navigate, or finding a surprisingly genius place to hide the paper towels. These are the little kitchen luxuries that make my space feel more organized, elevated, and easier to live in.

2.Put It On a Tray

A tray is one of the easiest ways to countain countertop clutter and elevate everyday items into a styled moment that are intentional, not just a bunch of junk in a pile on your counter. I love that they are so easy to move, rearrange, and repurpose whenever you want to change things up. There are endless options in different shapes, sizes, colors, and materials, so there really is one for every space and style. In fact, when I come across a tray that catches my eye, I usually don’t hesitate to purchase it becasue I know I’ll find a use for it somewhere in my house (literally ANYWHERE). Today it might hold oils by the stove, but tomorrow it could end up on the bathroom counter holding initialed napkins for guests. A good tray never really goes to waste. And dont’ limit them to just one purpose – use them for cooking oils and seasonings by the stove, hand soaps and lotions by the sink, coffee essentials, candles and matches, and even as a catch-all for those little everyday things that never seem to have a home. Once you start looking for places to use them, you’ll realize there’s almost always a spot that could use a good tray.

A little peek inside my own kitchen – this marble book holder is one of my favorite pieces. I usually keep a beautiful cookbook or wine-and-cheese book displayed on it becasue I love the way it adds something special to the kitchen.

3.Function With a Little More Style

I try to keep my counters as clear as possible, but realisticly there are certain things we use every single day that are going to stay out. When something needs to live on the counter, I want it again to feel intentional. A beautiful fruit bowl, elevated soap disoensers or a pretty container for utensils can make everyday necessities feel like part of your kitchen rather than clutter.

4.Organization That Makes Sense

Good organization should make a kitchen easier to use, not more complicated. I love simple solutions that help me see what I already have and reach it without moving everything around. Lazy susans are one of my favorite organizing tools because they work almost anywhere and make everything easier to see and reach. I also use a decorative basket with little glass jars to keep my protein powders, creatine, everyday vitamins, and other daily wellness essentials together. Since they are all in one designated spot, I can quickly see what I have an actually remember to use them. I could go much deeper into organization – but I’ll save that for another post. For now, these simple solutions will make everyday feel more manageable.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE KITCHEN FIND

This little adhesive towel bar may be one of my favorite kitchen finds ever. It sticks directly to the cabinet, keeps a towel conveniently within reach of the sink, and I use it every single day. I don’t think it costs more than $12 – and it’s the little gems like this that I love that create such a high end look.

Little Changes, Big Differences

Creating a kitchen that feels beautiful and functions well doesn’t require a full renovation. Sometimes it’s simply giving everyday items a designated place, displaying pieces you genuienly love, and finding a few small solutions that make daily like easier. These little changes have made our kitchen feel more organized, more intentional, and much easier to enjoy – and I hope a few of them do the same for you.
